Walking through the more than 1,800 buildings which once occupied the base I'm less interested in memory that has to do with remembering, but more with the residue of things, the leftovers of things on the mind- not with something that's occurred, but with the mark that is left. These images reveal an aura of melancholy and release that seems embedded into the place.
